Hi there, I’m Isabella. I’m an Australian registered psychologist with a Master’s in Health Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychological Science with First Class Honours. My passion is helping people like you find balance, peace, and a deeper connection to themselves.

I’ve worked in a variety of settings—from the calming shores of community services to a bustling practice in the heart of the city—and now, I’m here to meet you wherever you are, bringing that same sense of calm and care into our sessions. I believe in therapy that’s tailored just for you, blending practical strategies with a gentle, mind-body approach to help you navigate life’s ups and downs with grace.

Outside of our sessions, you’ll often find me on my yoga mat, meditating, or enjoying the company of those I hold dear. I’m also an avid listener of audiobooks and podcasts, and I love getting cozy with a good Netflix series—if you have any favorites, I’m all ears!

  • Tailored Telehealth Sessions
    Your wellbeing is my priority, and I offer flexible telehealth sessions so you can connect with me from the comfort of your own space. Whether you prefer a video call or an audio-only session, we can create an environment that feels right for you. Just let me know your preference when booking or send a quick email to my admin team, and we’ll set it up.

    In-Person Sessions
    While telehealth is my primary format, I understand that some clients may prefer the connection of in-person sessions. If you’re interested in meeting face-to-face, let’s explore availability together. These sessions are offered on a limited basis, depending on my current location and schedule. Please email to book directly.

  • When I’m in My Usual Office:

    • Session Availability: I offer both face-to-face and telehealth sessions from 9 am to 4 pm, with some after-hours appointments at no extra cost to accommodate your schedule. If you prefer an in-clinic session, please email me directly to arrange a time that suits you.

    • Using Your MHCP: If you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, I accept this to help cover your session costs. After each session, you'll receive a receipt to claim your rebate directly with Medicare. It's important to track the number of sessions used under your MHCP and inform me when you're nearing the limit or need to renew/extend your plan for uninterrupted care.

    • Flexible Payment Options: You have the option to switch between using an MHCP and private insurance for different sessions. However, please note that you can't use both for the same session.

    When I’m Outside My Usual Office:

    • Session Availability: When I'm working remotely, I shift my focus to offering primarily evening sessions. This allows for greater flexibility and is perfect for those who need support outside of typical work hours. Whether you're winding down from the day or have a quiet moment to focus on yourself, these evening sessions are tailored to fit seamlessly into your routine.

    • Flexible Payment Options: During this time, MHCPs cannot be used. However, private health insurance can still be accessed to cover the cost of your sessions. Understanding the need for accessible care, I’ve readjusted my fees during this period to ensure you can continue receiving support without added financial stress.

    • Continued Care: Even though the structure may change, my commitment to providing consistent and high-quality care remains the same. You can count on the same level of personalized support, whether in the usual office setting or during remote sessions.

  • Standard Fees

    Investing in your mental and emotional well-being is a powerful step. My standard session fees are as follows:

    • In-Office or Telehealth (Usual Office): $220 per 50-minute session

    • Remote Telehealth (Evenings):

      • Initial Consultation: $180 for a 50-minute session

      • Follow-Up Sessions: $170 for a 50-minute session

    For clients who have private health insurance, reimbursement may be available, depending on your level of cover. Please check with your provider to see if psychological services are covered under your plan. After each session, you will receive an invoiced receipt that you can submit for reimbursement.

    Mental Health Care Plans (MHCP): If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, it can be applied to the $220 in-office or telehealth sessions conducted within Australia. Please note that MHCP rebates cannot be accepted when I am providing services while working remotely.

    Subsidised Fees

    I understand that everyone’s financial situation is different, and I’m committed to making therapy accessible. I offer a limited number of subsidised slots at reduced rates:

    • $149 per 50-minute session

    • $129 per 50-minute session

    These slots are offered based on financial need and current availability. If you believe you may qualify, we can discuss your circumstances to ensure therapy remains accessible and affordable.

    Couples Therapy Fees

    For couples therapy, I offer the following fees:

    • $280 AUD for a 50-minute session

    • Subsidised Rate: $245 AUD for a 50-minute session (based on availability)

    Payment and Insurance

    Payments are processed at the time of your session. I accept card payments, which can be handled automatically if your details are stored in the system. After your session, you will receive an invoiced receipt, which can be submitted directly to your private health insurer for reimbursement (depending on your level of cover). Please note that it is your responsibility to check with your insurer whether mental health services are included in your policy.

  • Cancellation Policy
    I understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. If that happens, I just ask that you let me know as soon as possible.

    • Rescheduling: You can cancel or reschedule your session up until 9am the business day before your appointment without any fees.

    • Late Cancellations: Cancellations after this time will incur a $70 fee, and no-shows or cancellations within 2 hours of the appointment will incur a $120 fee.

    • Communication: If you’re facing barriers to attending your sessions, please reach out. We can work together to find a solution that supports your journey.

  • Your Privacy
    Your privacy and confidentiality are at the heart of our work together. Whether we’re meeting in-person or online, you can trust that your personal information and the content of our sessions will remain private.

    • Confidentiality: What we discuss stays between us, unless there’s a legal obligation to disclose—such as if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by a court order.

    • Data Protection: For telehealth sessions, I use secure, encrypted platforms to protect your data. All personal information, including session notes, is stored securely and in compliance with privacy regulations.

    • Your Rights: You have the right to access your records, request corrections, and understand how your information is used and stored. If you ever have concerns, please don’t hesitate to bring them to me—I’m here to ensure you feel safe and respected.

  • Holistic and Evidence-Based Therapies
    At Conscious Shift, I integrate a variety of evidence-based therapies to support your mental and emotional wellbeing. My approach is holistic, recognizing that your mind, body, and relationships are interconnected. Each therapeutic method is chosen with care, tailored to meet your unique needs and help you create meaningful, lasting change.

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): A mindfulness-based approach that encourages you to accept your thoughts and feelings without judgment while committing to actions that align with your core values, leading to a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

    • Somatic Therapy: Recognizing the connection between mind and body, this therapy uses physical techniques to release tension and improve emotional wellbeing, helping you feel more grounded and at peace.

    • Gottman Method Couples Therapy: Rooted in decades of research, this approach focuses on strengthening relationships through practical, evidence-based techniques. The Gottman Method helps couples improve communication, manage conflict, and build a deeper connection, fostering a strong, resilient partnership.

  • At Conscious Shift, I offer couples therapy sessions designed to help you and your partner(s) deepen your connection, navigate challenges, and build a stronger relationship. Whether you’re seeking to improve communication, resolve conflicts, or simply reconnect, these sessions provide a supportive space to explore and grow together.

    Evidence-Based Approach
    Our sessions draw inspiration from the Gottman Method of Couples Counselling, a well-researched approach known for its effectiveness in improving relationship dynamics. These sessions can range from 50 to 80 minutes, giving you the time and space needed to address your unique concerns.

    Inclusive and Affirming Practice
    At Conscious Shift, everyone is welcome. I’m proud to offer an LGBTQIA+ friendly practice that embraces all individuals and couples, regardless of your relationship structure. Whether you’re in a monogamous relationship, a polyamorous dynamic, or another type of partnership, this is your safe space to explore relationship issues, resolve conflicts, and set meaningful goals—both individually and together.

That’s why I’ve created a transparent, straightforward pricing structure tailored for international clients. My fees reflect the premium level of care and flexibility I offer, ensuring you receive the mental health support you need in a way that fits your lifestyle.

    Pricing for International Clients:

    • Individual Therapy Sessions: $220 AUD (approx. $140 USD / €130 EUR)

    • Couples Therapy Sessions: $280 AUD (approx. $175 USD / €163 EUR)

    • Couples Therapy (Subsidized Rate): $245 AUD (approx. $155 USD / €143 EUR)

    Subsidized Rates for Individual Therapy:
    To make my services more accessible, I offer a limited number of subsidized spots based on availability and financial need. If you believe you may qualify, please feel free to reach out.

    • Subsidized Rate 1: $170 AUD (approx. $110 USD / €100 EUR)

    • Subsidized Rate 2: $149 AUD (approx. $95 USD / €88 EUR)

    • Subsidized Rate 3: $129 AUD (approx. $82 USD / €76 EUR)

    All fees are in AUD. Clients are encouraged to check conversion rates for their local currencies.
